We stumbled into this local café after discovering La Gerbe D'or was closed – for the public holiday or for good I’m not sure. It seemed pretty crowded but unfortunately it must have been for the location & availability of outdoor sun-facing seats. The coffee was pretty bitter.

Somehow my camera's memory card failed and I don't have any pictures of the food. We had the Pesto eggs on Turkish Toast ($12) add mushrooms ($2.70) which was only ordinary and the Ricotta hotcakes with triple berry coulis and creamy ice cream ($11.50) which did not come with the promised ice cream (not that we really wanted it, being in the morning and all, but it was stated clearly on the menu!) and had too much baking soda.

Oh and boo to the 10% surcharge on Sundays and public holidays (5% on Saturdays)! Might as well go to Bills nearby...
