Coffee Supreme

A bluestone cafe situated amidst the offices opposite Richmond's IKEA, this cosy cottage squeezes their own juices, including a signature mix called the Flow Lube, and has a lunch menu with a wide choice of favourites such as frittatas, soups, pasta, lasagne and risotto along with baguettes, salads and a variety of sides.

The coffee is strong - so strong I had to put sugar in my mocha to make it drinkable. Surprisingly the cappuccino wasn't as strong...

The breakfast menu ranges from toast soldiers to leaded/unleaded breakfasts - leaded for meat lovers - unleaded for vegetarians ($18 each).

We had the Corn fritters with smoked salmon, avocado and rocket, add potato roesti and balsamic mushrooms ($3 each). It took pretty long to come, considering there was only 3 other customers at that time. And the waitress gave what suspiciously looked like our meal to one of the other 3. 3 minutes later another meal popped out of the kitchen and the waitress realised her mistake. She went to correct it (the lady hadn't started eating as she was tending to her baby) and brought that very same plate from the ladies table to ours! Pretty disgusting if you ask me, but luckily the lady didn't look germy/breathed down our food. It was above average so we decided to order something else.
The French toast with cornflake crust & maple syrup ($9) was a mistake. Sounded interesting, was highly recommended but big disappointment. Overly deep fried in 'stale' oil and swimming in maple syrup. Luckily the portion of the 1st meal was big enough for us to leave the diabetes behind.
